Noise pollution national roads in the Netherlands 2021 (night average)
Description
Display by means of noise contours of the noise load Lnight (night average) in 2021 of the roads that were under management at Rijkswaterstaat on 31-12-2021. Displays only the current situation in 2021 without future projections calculated with the Silence 3 road noise model. These noise contours have been drawn up as part of the EU Environmental Noise Directive project. On 3 July 2022, the noise contours were established by the Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment. Legally, these noise maps must be developed once every five years.
