Littoral mud and sandflat condition monitoring and rMCZ verification survey of the Alde, Ore and Butley Estuaries
Description
Natural England has commissioned surveys in order to monitor and assess the extent and condition of the mudflats and sandflats not covered by seawater at low tide feature of the Alde, Ore and Butley Estuaries SAC. Natural England in partnership with Environment Agency, Cefas, and Defra have additionally requested that the surveys add to the current information available for the Alde Ore Estuary rMCZ. More specifically, the data collection is proposed to add to knowledge on the presence and extent of the Habitats of Conservation Importance (HOCI) within the rMCZ boundary where more evidence is required.
