The Municipal Key Figures

Description

The Municipal Key Figures is a web-based tool that makes it possible to compare the municipalities' finances, background information on demographics, etc. over time and across municipalities. The municipal key figures gather about 200 municipal key figures from 1993 to the present day. It is possible to see comparable information on the municipalities' expenditure on e.g. childcare, education and care for the elderly, tariff information on daycare and the elderly, as well as information on the municipalities' liquidity and competitive exposure. All key figures can be selected either unprocessed (the key figure itself) or as absolute growth, percentage growth or index figures in relation to a selected base year. In addition, financial ratios can be selected shown in the year's prices or pl-regulated. For all key figures – with the exception of a few absolute figures – a weighted average of the selected municipalities is calculated. For absolute numbers, a sum is calculated. The presented information can be viewed both in tabular form or visualized on maps and in individual graphs, and both data and graphs can be exported: Data such as text file or csv file, and graphic presentations in the formats pdf, jpg, png or tif. The graphic presentations can be customized on a wide range of parameters. You can thus choose between different statistical methods, colours, subtitling of cards, map sections, etc.
