Description
Soil Duration Observation Areas (BDF) are divided into two categories: BDF II is initially monitored analogous to BDF I, correspondingly the same basic information is available. However, the selected sites are of particular importance from the point of view of soil protection (immission load, sensitivity, etc.). They are therefore permanently equipped with measuring instruments that deliver results on various parameters such as water content, temperature, precipitation and ingredients of leachate in short cycles and are also referred to as intensive measuring surfaces. The LfULG operates a network of a total of 5 BDF II at agricultural sites.
