Germany atlas childcare key in day care facilities
Description
Data from https://www.deutschlandatlas.de : places in day-care centres per pedagogical worker in 2022. The day care facilities include a crèche, kindergarten and after-school care. The care key indicates how many children are cared for by a caregiver, on average there are between seven and eight children. In West German federal states, the care key is lower, where on average one child is less cared for per caregiver than in East German federal states.
