Health Monitor Young Adults, GGDs and RIVM
Description
The Health Monitor Young Adults provides insight into the health, well-being and lifestyle of Dutch young adults aged 16 to 25. The research is carried out by all GGDs in the Netherlands in collaboration with GGD GHOR Netherlands and RIVM. All regional GGDs collect the data in the same way, making figures available at national and regional level. The recruitment took place through a social media campaign and offline recruitment. The results of the research provide an important basis for the development and implementation of local and regional health policies.
As part of the Health Research COVID-19 of the Network GOR, the Corona Health Monitor Young Adults is being carried out. With this research, GGDs provide insight into the physical and mental health of young adults during and after the corona crisis.
