Above-ground catchment areas of the OWK in the 3. Management cycle
Description
This dataset contains the own and total catchment areas of the 1,369 water bodies subject to reporting and 193 reporting sea surface water bodies of the State of Brandenburg for the 3. Catering cycle (BWZ) of the Water Framework Directive 2022-2027, as well as a nationwide shape of the own catchment areas of reporting surface water bodies (OWK) of Brandenburg and its neighbouring federal states of the same BWZ.
Due to partially different OWK limits from the hydrological area boundaries of the ezg25, a catchment area allocation to the OWK for some water bodies is only approximate. By manually dividing the underlying ezg25 areas based on the digital terrain model, it was attempted to keep the deviations between the flow length recorded by the catchment area designation to the actual flow length of a OWK less than 10 %. Partial catchment areas in which several OWKs are located have been assigned to the OWK, which has the longest flow route in it.
