A compilation of bilateral agreements between Canada and Romania spanning defence cooperation, judicial cooperation, air transport, nuclear collaboration, and investment protection. This set includes an agreement on military relations; a mutual legal assistance treaty supporting cooperation in criminal investigations, prosecutions, and related judicial proceedings; an air transport agreement with annex and an exchange of notes; an exchange of notes amending the 1977 agreement with the Socialist Republic of Romania on cooperation in the development and application of atomic energy for peaceful purposes; a protocol supplementing that same 1977 atomic energy cooperation agreement; and an investment promotion and protection agreement with annex designed to encourage investment flows and safeguard investor rights.
