[DREAL OCCITANIA] One-time issues of the Atlas Landscaper of Occitania

The atlas of landscapes makes it possible to draw up the situation of the departmental and regional landscapes and the dynamics that transform them, in the form of a reference document, intended for all those involved in the planning.
The project management is carried out by a local authority (general councils), the CAUE or the State.
Atlases list and map landscape units, portions of territory that provide a homogeneity of the landscape at the scale used (in general 1: 100000). These units are studied one by one, detailing the geomorphological, visual, ecological, cultural,...
The following points must be included in the atlas:
Identification of landscape units
—Providing social and cultural representations of the landscape (painting, literature,...)
—Assessment of landscape dynamics and issues
