LAPRO2009 — Natural development of gravel meadows (Mosel, Saar, Prims)
Description
The Saarland landscape programme outlines the need for the natural development of gravel pastures in the meadows of Moselle, Saar and Prims. Due to the high ecological importance and the development potential of these areas, gravel wedges are to be upgraded from a nature conservation point of view. However, this is not intended to rule out the use of leisure time. At the same time, the landscape programme presents the pebble-weed areas as development priorities “Ecological upgrading of stillwaters”. see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 5.11.
