Description
This map is a synthesis of maps extracted from Christian Hily’s thesis on the “Pertuis Charentais” published in 1976 and Claude Chassé’s map entitled “Pertuis et Îles Charentais — Bio-sedimentary Map (Prevision)” of 1974, (with for the western part, the integration of the geomorphological works of J.P. Barusseau, D. Dorel and M. Tesson and the biology works of F. Lagardère (Gironde)).
Harmonisation with the EUNIS typology was carried out in 2008, with the expertise of the author (Rebent and Interreg-MESH projects).
