Description

In the late Middle Ages, the waste from the kitchens and latrines of the houses fell down into the open moat at the back of the houses. The bucket system, which was introduced at the time, was replaced by the system still common today after the First World War. **Purpose**: Management and maintenance, documenting historical importance
