Maritime safety equipment (waterway material)

Description

A maritime safety device is a structure and device located in a water area or on a shore for the purpose of marking a passage or otherwise controlling and securing water traffic. In addition to the sea signs used for navigation and fairway marking, navigational safety devices also include water traffic signs and light signals. Includes the maritime safety equipment entered in the waterway register of the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The material includes both floating and fixed safety devices.
