Department — permanent division of state forests
Description
The Department is a permanent basic unit of the economic division of forests and forest land within a particular economic unit.
Departments are set up to facilitate management, supervision and orientation on the ground. The units in the economic unit shall be numbered, generally continuously from north to south and from west to east.
The existing boundaries of the department may be changed only when, when the management plans are renewed or revised, major surface deviations are observed as a result of the acquisition or allocation of forest areas in the economic unit.
The departments are numbered and the economic division on the ground is marked by markings on trees, pillars, stones, etc.
The codes of membership of the economic unit (code GJ) and the first year of validity of the device study are public data. The information shows the areas of forests and forest land owned by the Republic of Croatia which are managed by HŠ d.o.o.
It should be taken into account that individual areas are located on cadastral plots in co-ownership where no identification of the demarcation of ownership was possible, in which case the total areas of cadastral plots are shown.
Position data are presented in the Croatian Terrestrial Reference System 1996 Transvers Merkator projection (HTRS96/TM).
