INSPIRE harmonized - Assumptions
Description
In DOV, the results of probes are made available. When performing the probing, a probing point with a cone is statically pressed into the ground by means of tubes. Continuously or at certain depth intervals, the resistance at the cone point, the local friction resistance and/or the total intrusion resistance shall be measured. If necessary, the water tension in the ground around the cone can also be measured during the sounding with a water tension meter. Pressing the probe tubes to depth is done with an impression device. The necessary reaction for pressing the tubes is provided by an anchorage and/or by the weight of the probe carriage. The total impression capacity varies from 25 kN to 250 kN, depending on device and setup mode.
