LGRB-BW Relief Parameters: Culmination line
Description
A culmination line (synonym ridge, summit line, vertex line) connects the peak points on the back, ridges, etc. and thus represents the counterpart to the depth lines. Culmination grid cells must have a certain divergence index, a minimum scattering angle (spread angle = maximum angle difference of exposures around the examined grid cell) and a minimum amount of symmetric relief energy. (Note: a highly asymmetric relief energy is present, e.g. for small elevations at the edge of a terrace edge.) Optionally, thresholds for the maximum inclination as well as for height over depth line and the soil moisture index can be selected.
