Description
The administrative WFD sub-basin is an intermediate level of aggregation between the water body
and the DCE basin. It was implemented at the end of 2008 at the request of the European Commission.
for reporting and visualization purposes within WISE (Water Information System
for Europe). In France, the administrative WFD sub-basin is defined as the area of
jurisdiction of the Territorial Commissions. The only exceptions to the slicing rule
DCE basins in administrative DCE sub-basins are, in metropolitan France, the DCE basins: A, B1,
B2, E and the overseas departments and territories. For them, the administrative ELD sub-basin is equal to the administrative ELD sub-basin.
WFD. The administrative DCE sub-basin is derived from the BDCarto® administrative theme. His
cartographic representation is the aggregation of the polygons of the municipalities composing it. The
