City of Duisburg: Cycling facilities plan
Description
In 1999, the Council decided to update the cycling installation plan. The cycling installation plan adopted by the Council in 1986 was supplemented and extended due to the amendments to the StVO in 1997. In addition to the cycling installation plan, a table divided into districts shows sections of the planning, planning justifications, traffic strength and counting year data, assessments of measures already implemented, tests of roads as bicycle roads, cycle paths proposed in accordance with the planning recommendations and other cycling facilities according to priorities according to their urgency in 3 priority levels. For the application to the association of bicycle-friendly cities and municipalities, the plan was updated in 2009
