City of Duisburg: Residential area analysis
Description
Between winter 2008 and summer 2009, the 106 residential quarters were assessed on the basis of a survey sheet. Urban indicators in private and public buildings were surveyed: Space edges, building heights, building gaps, building front design, private greenery, flexibility of the urban structure, dimension of buildings, flat public green, furnishing, street space design, quarter squares, adjoining use, building substance, vacancy, vandalism. The quality and the condition were evaluated.
