Air Capacity of the Soil (KLZ Soil Estimation)
Description
Air content of soil (vol.-%) at field capacity. Pores with equivalent diameter = 50 µm, in which the water can move according to gravity. Air capacity is thus understood as the pore space that is filled with air at field capacity. The information refers to one metre of profile power. For soils where skeletons or solid rocks are at a lower depth, the data refer to the thickness of the soluum.
