REDIAM. WMS HIC 3140 Calcareous oligomesotrophic waters with benthic vegetation of Chara spp
Description
WMS service corresponding to the Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 3140 of non-current water bodies (sources, lagoons, ponds, backwaters and lagoons of temporary watercourses, etc.), which at their bottom allow the growth of underwater carophyte meadows. This type of vegetation needs waters with a certain load of calcareous carbonates, for the formation of the cell walls of these algae. Carophyte meadows appear in very different environments (pools, lagoons, coastal lagoons, etc.) dominated by species such as Chara galioides, Chara vulgaris, Chara canescens and Lamprothamnium papulosi.
