Description
Digital True Orthophotos (TrueDOP) are high-resolution, distortion-free, scale-to-scale, geo-referenced and tilt-free images of the Earth’s surface. They are produced by photogrammetric methods in knowledge of the orientation parameters and with the addition of an image-based digital surface model (BDOM) from aerial images. The tilt-free representation conveys a vertical view of the earth’s surface for each individual point of the image. The DOPs are widely available for the Cologne city area. They are manufactured according to the product standard of the country based on the definitions of an AdV standard (AdV Working Group of Surveying Administrations of the Länder) and have a soil resolution of 7.5 cm/pixel. The product is 4-channel multispectral images with the channel assignment RGB-NIR (Red-Green-Blue-Nahinfrared). Landing date 12.7.2022, floor resolution 7.5 cm.
