Description
Metadata catalogue of the Federal Institute for Water Studies. The metadata is exchanged via the Catalog Service Web interface (CS-W) specified by the OGC in version 2.0. In order to enable the provision of metadata in accordance with ISO standards 19115, 19119 and 19139 recommended by INSPIRE, it is necessary to further specify this standard by means of an application profile (AP). This OpenGIS Catalogue Services Specification 2.0.2 — ISO Metadata Application Profile (1.0.0) is therefore the standard for accessing metadata within the geodata infrastructure Germany (GDI-DE).
