ESCAUT INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT
Description
Escaut International District corresponds to the overall boundary of the Escaut District.
A DCE basin corresponds to:
— or to a national river basin district (example: Courses
of Corsican water)
— a portion of an international river basin district situated in the territory of a Member State (examples: the Meuse; the Sambre)
Each WFD basin has a coordinating competent authority which is the body responsible for the implementation of the WFD within the WFD basin. Its cartographic representation is the aggregation of polygons of the administrative DCE sub-basins composing it.
