Purchase invoices of the City of Kauhajoki
Description
The City of Kauhajoki will publish information on its external purchase invoices starting from 2022. From 2024 onwards, the data will be available on a semi-annual basis.
Purchase invoice data includes purchases of services, materials, supplies and goods, purchases related to investments, as well as purchases included in the accounting group other operating expenses in municipal accounting, including, for example, rents.
The data includes business ID purchase invoices, from which data protection and the guidelines of the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities have been taken into account, as well as data defined as non-purchase invoices, such as paid grants, loans, expenses recorded in wages and salaries and tax accounts. Due to the restrictions made, the amounts cannot be compared directly to the municipality's budget or actual costs.
The data to be published is formed in the financial management system from purchase invoices paid to companies and organisations. The data includes, for example, the date, receipt and accounting information of purchase invoices, the service category and the name of the supplier. The information is classified according to the name of the supplier. The data has been extracted from the accounts payable data at the line level, in which case the total amount per invoice is obtained by adding together the rows containing the same receipt number.
