Description
The areas of the Birds Directive are intended to preserve Europe’s wild birds and their habitats in the long term. The delimitations of the Bavarian bird sanctuaries were established by the “Regulation on the establishment of European Bird Protected Areas and their territorial limits and conservation objectives” (short: VoGEV) on 12.7.2006, as amended by Ordinance of 22.07.2014, legally binding. By the “Bavarian Ordinance on Natura 2000 Areas” of 19 February 2016, the Bird Protection Areas and Habitats Areas were legally binding with a common regulation. The Bavarian complete report of the bird sanctuaries is offered on a scale of 1:5,000.
