Geological 3D model of the Zittau basin
Description
The geological model presents the geological structures and rock layers of the area of the Zittau basin (room Zittau-Turow-Hradek) in a 3 dimensional space. The geological model of the Zittau basin is a basic model that depicts the encountered rock layers from the base mountains (Lausitzer Granodiorite) to the quaternary. The maximum model depth is 300 m below NN. The model was created as a GOCAD model in version 2013.2 as part of the study “Tectonic and geomorphological 3D modelling of tertiary units of the Saxon Lusatia”.
