Grid distribution 10 x 10 km from the Perlière Moule in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Description
The pearl mussel has become a species protected by French law since the Order of 7 October 1992 and Decree No. 99-615 of 7 July 1999. It is also included in Annexes II and V of the Habitats-Faune-Flore Directive and Annex III to the Berne Convention. In 2010, the IUCN Red List classified it as “endangered”. It is considered to be facing a very high risk of extinction in the wild in the near future.
This layer presents on a regional scale the distribution of the Pearl Mould by 10 x 10 km mesh.
As the species was sensitive, DREAL aggregated the accurate data to the 10 x 10 km grid. Legally, the SINP protocol (Circular of the Ministry of Ecology dated May 15, 2013) defines sensitive data. See extracts from the Protocol in the Annex. These are the data referred to in Article L. 124-4 §8 of the Environmental Code whose consultation or communication undermines the protection of the environment.
