Description
The primary purpose of this cruise was to observe the ecosystem of Southeastern Alaska, including transects near Baranoff Is., Yakutat, and Kayak Island. This is part of the Gulf of Alaska- Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (GOA-IERP ) sponsered by NPRB.
Operations consisted of zooplankton and larval fish sampling using MARMAP bongo tows and Neuston net operations, MOCNESS tows, accompanied by hydrographic measurements and water sampling on some of the transects.
