Milan Airport System: Commercial aircraft movements
Description
The dataset shows from 2003, for each of the airports (Linate, Malpensa, Orio al Serio) of the Milan airport system, the number of movements (arrivals and departures) of commercial aircraft divided by national and international flights; Data for 2006 are not available
P.S.: The Milan Linate airport was closed from 27 July to 25 October 2019 with the consequent transfer of operational activities to the Milan Malpensa airport
In 2020, air traffic was heavily affected by the crisis triggered by the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, which caused a sharp contraction, in line with the situation in the rest of the world.
