Detainees in the Milanese Prison System: work activities and enrolled in professional courses (2010-2020)
Description
Regulatory capacity and number of prisoners working or enrolled in professional courses present in the San Vittore Prison, in the Bollate Prison and in the Opera Prison. The data on regulatory capacity is calculated on the basis of the criterion of 9 square meters per individual prisoner plus 5 square meters for each other prisoner in the same cell. The data on prisoners present in each institution is disaggregated by type of employment and gender.
