Description
The dataset shows the data of the Daily Air Quality Report of the Municipality of Milan prepared by AMAT, based on the data measured and validated daily by Arpa Lombardia from the institutional air quality stations present in the municipal territory.
Below is an explanatory legend of the measured values in μg/m3 (micrograms per cubic metre of ambient air) for all pollutants except CO (mg/m3)
* C6H6: Benzene, referred to the average concentration over 24 hours.
* CO8h: Carbon monoxide (CO), referred to the maximum 8-hour moving average concentration.
* NO2: Nitrogen dioxide, referring to the maximum hourly concentration over 24 hours.
* O3: Ozone, referring to the maximum hourly concentration over 24 hours.
* PM10: Powders with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 10 μm, referring to the average concentration over 24 hours.
* PM2.5: Powders with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 2.5 μm, referring to the average concentration over 24 hours.
* SO2: Sulphur dioxide, referring to the maximum hourly concentration.

The values shown refer only to working days.
** Suspended service:** the issue of the Daily Air Quality Report in Milan is suspended from 1 May 2024 until 30 September 2024 (inclusive) for the end of the winter thermal season and the seasonal suspension of the application of the temporary limitations provided for by the Po basin agreements for the improvement of air quality (Regional Executive Decision No 1008/2023).
