Census 2011: Indicators for resident population, households, housing and buildings by census section
Description
The dataset contains 43 statistical indicators calculated on the basis of 2011 Census data for the Census sections. The indicators are defined as follows:
* 1) Average number of residents per residential building;
* 2) Average number of dwellings per residential building;
* 3) Average number of residential dwellings per residential building;
* 4) Percentage of residential buildings in poor or mediocre state of conservation;
* 5) Average age of residential buildings;
* 6) Percentage of residential buildings of 4 or more floors with elevator;
* 7) Population over 65 per 100 young people (0-14 years) (Old age index);
* 8) Percentage of preschool children;
* 9) Percentage of elderly people over 85;
* 10) Young people (0-14 years) and over65 years of age every 100 in active age (15-64 years) (dependency index);
* 11) Percentage of residents over 5 years old who 5 years previously lived outside Milan (attractiveness indicator);
* 12) Percentage of dwellings in buildings built in the last 20 years (building expansion indicator);
* 13) Percentage of unoccupied dwellings;
* 14) Percentage of single-parent families;
* 15) Percentage of households without income earners;
* 16) Percentage of households of 5 or more members with at most one income;
* 17) Percentage of over-65s living alone;
* 18) Percentage of occupied dwellings with less than 15 m2 per occupant (indicator of overcrowding);
* 19) Percentage of males;
* 20) Percentage of unmarried/unmarried;
* 21) Percentage of widows and widowers;
* 22) Population aged 55-64 per 100 young people aged 15-24 (Replacement index of the active population);
* 23) Population aged 40-64 per 100 persons aged 15-39 (Structure index of the active population);
* 24) Children aged 0-4 years each woman aged 15-49 years (Loading of preschool children for fertile woman);
* 25) Young people (0-14 years) every 100 in active age (15-64 years) (Youth Dependency Index);
* 26) Over 65 years of age per 100 people of active age (15-64 years) (addiction index elderly);
* 27) Percentage of the population aged 15 and over earning an income out of the total population aged 15 and over;
* 28) Percentage of illiterate people in the total population aged 6 years or over;
* 29) Percentage of the population with university or para-university degrees of 30-34 years of age out of the total population of 30-34 years of age;
* 30) Percentage of foreigners and stateless persons;
* 31) Percentage of Africans in the total number of foreigners and stateless persons;
* 32) Percentage of Asians in total foreigners and stateless persons;
* 33) Percentage of foreigners from other areas (no Africa and no Asia) out of the total of foreigners and stateless persons ;
* 34) Percentage of resident population moving daily for study or work;
* 35) Percentage of the resident population that moves daily for study or work in Milan on the total population that moves daily for study or work;
* 36) Percentage of the resident population that moves daily for study or work outside Milan on the total population that moves daily for study or work;
* 37) Percentage of households living in rented accommodation;
* 38) Percentage of households residing in owner-occupied housing;
* 39) Average number of household members;
* 40) Percentage of households of a component;
* 41) Average area (sqm) of dwellings occupied by at least one resident;
* 42) Percentage of residential buildings built before 1946;
* 43) Percentage of residential buildings with only one residential interior.
