Census 2011: Indicators by ACE census area
Description
The dataset contains 32 statistical indicators calculated on the basis of 2011 Census data for the 86 Census Areas (ACE). The indicators are defined as follows:
* 1) Housing density (Relationship between the resident population in the area and the area area in square kilometers);
* 2) Average age of the population (Average of ages weighted by the amount of the population of each age);
* 3) Population over 65 each child (Relationship between the population aged 65 and over and children under 6 years);
* 4) Large seniors per 100 residents (Percentage ratio between the population aged 85 and over and the total population);
* 5) Population of inactive age per 100 residents of active age (Percentage ratio between the population of inactive age, 0-14 years and 65 years and over, and the population of active age, 15-64 years);
* 6) Foreigners per 100 residents (Percentage ratio between the foreign population and the total population);
* 7) Average age of foreigners (Average of ages weighted by the amount of foreign population in each age);
* 8) Foreign minors per 100 foreigners (Percentage ratio between the foreign minor population and the total foreign population);
* 9) Young foreign students per 100 young foreign students (15-24 years old) (Percentage ratio between the foreign population of 15-24 years old student and the total foreign population of 15-24 years old);
* 10) Foreign employment rate (Percentage ratio between employed foreigners aged 15 and over and the total number of foreigners of the same age group);
* 11) Young people without an average license per 100 young people (Percentage ratio between the population of 15-19 years with educational qualifications below the average license and the population of 15-19 years);
* 12) Young people with a medium degree leaving the school system before graduation every 100 young people (Percentage ratio between the population of 15-24 years old non-student with a medium degree as the highest educational qualification and the population of 15-24 years old);
* 13) Active young people per 100 inactive young people (Percentage ratio between the active and non-active population aged 15-24);
* 14) Youth unemployment rate (Percentage ratio between young jobseekers aged 15-24 and the active population aged 15-24);
* 15) Activity rate (Percentage ratio between the working population aged 15 and over and the total population aged 15 and over);
* 16) Employment rate (Percentage ratio between the employed population aged 15 and over and the total population aged 15 and over);
* 17) Unemployment rate (Percentage ratio between the jobseeker population aged 15 and over and the active population aged 15 and over);
* 18) Graduates each adult with only the medium license (Relationship between the resident population of 25-64 years with diploma or degree and the resident population of the same age class with medium license);
* 19) Young adults with tertiary education per 100 young adults (Percentage ratio between the population aged 30-34 with a university degree and the total population aged 30-34; objective of the Europe 2020 Strategy);
* 20) Young people not in employment or education per 100 young people (Percentage ratio between the population aged 15-29 who are neither students nor in employment and the total population aged 15-29);
* 21) Owned dwellings per 100 dwellings occupied by residents (Percentage ratio between the number of dwellings occupied by owned residents and the total number of dwellings occupied by residents);
* 22) Rented dwellings per 100 dwellings occupied by residents (Percentage ratio between the number of dwellings occupied by rented residents and the total number of dwellings occupied by residents);
* 23) Average size of dwellings (ratio between total area (sqm) of dwellings occupied by residents and total dwellings occupied by residents);
* 24) Average number of members per household (Relationship between the total number of residents in the household and the number of households);
* 25) Households of only one member per 100 households (Percentage ratio between the number of single-person households and the total number of households);
* 26) Households with 5 or more members per 100 households (Percentage ratio between the number of households with 5 or more members and the total number of households);
* 27) Young couples with children per 100 young couples (Percentage ratio between the number of young couples with children and the total number of young couples; both members of the couple under 35 years of age);
* 28) Young people living alone per 100 young people (Percentage ratio between the number of single-person households, without cohabitants, consisting of one person aged 15-34 and the total population aged 15-34);
* 29) Population over 65 years living alone every 100 over 65 years (Percentage ratio between the number of single-person families, without cohabitants, consisting of a person of 65+ years and the population of 65+ years);
* 30) Mixed couples per 100 couples (Percentage ratio between the number of couples with a foreign and an Italian component and the total number of couples);
* 31) Unmarried couples per 100 couples (Percentage ratio between the number of unmarried couples and the total number of couples);
* 32) Single-parent households per 100 households with children (Percentage ratio between the number of single-parent households and the total number of households with children).
