Census 2011: Commuting out of the municipality of Milan
Description
Number of residents in Milan who move daily for the purpose of study or work, by region, province, municipality or foreign state of destination, recorded through the 15th General Census of population and housing. The census, carried out by the Italian municipalities in collaboration with ISTAT, is a statistical survey that aims to count the totality of the population, homes and buildings in the territory. Thanks to the data collected with the census it is possible to have information on the number and the main socio-demographic characteristics of the population usually living and on the number and characteristics of the housing stock (buildings and dwellings) with a high territorial detail, the reference date for the information collected is October 9, 2011.
