Population: Historical censuses 1886 - 2011, population by marital status
Description
The dataset contains the historical series of the census population for the years 1861 to 2011, separated by marital status and gender. The censuses of 1891 and 1941 were not carried out, for organizational-financial reasons the first and for war reasons the second. The censuses of 1861 and 1871 detect the de facto population while since 1881 the resident population is considered, the data refer to the boundaries of the time.
