Urban Green Index of Census Sections 2011 - July 2024
Description
This reusable geographical data consists of the urban green index (field value) updated to July 2024, calculated for the 2011 Census Sections that are part of the territory of the Municipality of Milan.
The urban green index expresses the amount of green/vegetable areas in the city.
The index calculation service is available from the European Project portal SPOTTED https://portal.cef-spotted.eu/pages/home, where you can also download the methodological notes at https://portal.cef-spotted.eu/assets/data/Spotted_NoteMetodologiche.pdf. The SPOTTED portal is accessible upon registration.
