Handicraft activities: food sector
Description
The dataset contains the list of craft activities in the food sector, i.e. the production and sale of foodstuffs in the production premises (ice cream parlours, take-away pizzerias, pastry shops, kebabs, rotisseries, etc.). In addition to location by street and house number and type of business, there are other information taken from the administrative archive. For the interpretation of the data it must be considered that the legislation on trade has undergone numerous changes over time, both with respect to the nomenclature and classification of activities, and with respect to the type and number of information collected. In some cases, regulatory changes have introduced variables not present in the archives, enriching the dataset with information. However, these changes do not affect the archive retroactively, but are updated on the first occasion on which the owner contacts the offices to communicate any change (move, takeover, change of sales area, cumulation of activities ...). Therefore, the information contained in the dataset is not necessarily homogeneous, because it refers to the time of the last communication.
