Tourism: attendance in accommodation facilities by origin 2000-2023
Description
The dataset contains data on the flow of tourists in accommodation facilities in Milan, divided by country / area of origin. "Presences" means the number of nights spent by customers in accommodation establishments during the relevant period. Data are available from 2000 to 2023, but with different levels of disaggregation reflecting geopolitical changes over the years (particularly for the EU area). To ensure the highest level of detail and a correct reading of the data, two different time series have been created (from 2000 to 2004 and from 2005 to 2012).
