Consumer prices: NIC index, cyclical and trend change by purchase frequency from 2011 to 2015
Description
The dataset describes the monthly trend of the National Consumer Price Index (NIC), an indicator used to measure inflation, broken down by purchasing frequency. The source of the data is the monthly ISTAT Survey on Consumer Prices. The index base is the year 2010=100. The reference universe is the entire population present in the territory and the set of all goods and services purchased by households with an actual market price. The product classification adopted for the consumer price indices is based on COICOP (Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose), whose hierarchical structure provides for the following three levels of disaggregation: product divisions, groups and classes.
This dataset has been issued by the Municipality of Milan.
