Enterprises: number of enterprises and workers by sector of activity of the enterprise and characteristics of workers
Description
The dataset contains the companies surveyed in the 9th Census of Industry and Services. The detection units are: sole proprietorships, partnerships and capital companies, cooperative societies (excluding social cooperatives, which are the subject of the survey on non-profit institutions), private-law consortia, public economic bodies, special companies and public service companies. For the purposes of the census, self-employed persons and self-employed persons are also considered to be undertakings. Companies are classified by Ateco 2007 (5 digits), legal form, group membership, company size, artisan character and presence of employees. NOTE: the size of the enterprise is defined on the basis of the class of employees: micro (less than 10 employees), small (from 10 to 49), medium (from 50 to 259), large (250 employees and more).
