Household consumption: Average monthly expenditure by category of expenditure and age of head of household
Description
The average monthly expenditure of Milanese families is analyzed by category of expenditure and by age of the reference person of the family unit, distinguishing 4 types of families by age: young families with reference person's age (head of household) up to 34 years, those with reference person (p.r.) aged 35-49 years, mature families with p.r. aged 50-64 years and elderly families with p.r. aged 65 years and over. The data are expressed in euro and refer to the period 2007-2013. The source of the data is the survey "Consu-Mi, Observatory on consumption of households resident in the Municipality of Milan - 2013 edition" conducted by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan. Note: there is no provision for a later edition of the survey.
