Household consumption: Average monthly expenditure by category of expenditure and area of residence
Description
The dataset contains the average monthly expenditure of Milanese families divided by area of residence. The research considered 3 areas (called "territorial rings"): centre, semi-centre and periphery, identified from the former 20 constituency areas. The centre corresponds to the former zone 1; the half-centre of former zones 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11; the periphery to the remaining areas. The data are expressed in euro and refer to the period 2007-2013. The source of the data is the survey "Consu-Mi, Observatory on consumption of households resident in the Municipality of Milan - 2013 edition" conducted by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan. Note: there is no provision for a later edition of the survey.
