DREAMS Economic Vulnerability Assessment Tool Pilot
Description
The goal of this project is to develop assessment tools for economic vulnerability at the household and individual levels to improve M&E for economic strengthening initiatives for DREAMS partners in Southern Africa.
Objectives:
1. To develop two short vulnerability assessment tools for implementers to monitor progress in economic strengthening interventions 1) at the individual level for adolescent girl participants, and 2) at the household level.
2. To implement and assess the tools in the context of implementing partner Children in Distress Network (CINDI)’s program population, including adolescent girls aged 12-19 and their households in DREAMS target districts characterized by high poverty and HIV rates in KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa.
