Length of public roads (state and municipal) by municipalities, statistical regions and cohesion regions since 2002

Description

The collection of Excel documents on the lengths of national roads (motorways, expressways, main roads, regional roads) and municipal roads (local roads, major urban roads, urban (urban) roads, urban (local) roads, public routes, public routes for cyclists) by municipalities from 2002 onwards includes, in addition to data on roads by municipalities, rotation tables by statistical region. The data for the last year are provisional and may be subject to further changes. Definition of: Public roads (JC) are the sum of the lengths of national roads (DC) and municipal roads (OC). Definition of: The length of a road is the sum of the lengths of the sections to which they belong, according to the type of section. — The length of roads without connections includes sections of type A and O. — The length of roads with connections includes sections of type A, C, O and P. — Other types of sections (V, D and R) are not to be counted against the length of roads. Methodology: all roads (AC and HC, GC and RC) without connections. The data of each year of the time series from 2002 onwards are compiled in a standalone Excel file with spreadsheets and PivotTables: — Table: Summary of lengths of public roads by category and cohesion regions — Table: List of sections of public roads by municipalities with PivotTable by road category — PivotTable: Public roads (JC) by region, municipality and section type — PivotTable: National roads (DC) by type of road (IVRC), road markings and associated sections and by type of section — PivotTable: Public roads (JC) by type of road (IVRC), road markings and associated sections and by type of section — Table: List of municipalities with lengths and shares of national roads (DC) and public roads (JC) (Slovenia = 100 %)
