Part cooling monitored with two infra-red cameras

Description

This dataset contains a single video (.mp4) of optical and infra-red monitoring of fused filament fabrication (FFF). It reveals the distributions and variations of the temperature fields of FFF printed parts. Video title: Part cooling monitored with two infra-red cameras Basic info: 3D printing: Typhoon hot-end controlled by an ABB robot arm; nozzle temperature 200 ℃, travelling speed 20 mm/s. Part geometry: single-walled square with an edge length of 120 mm, printed at a layer height of 0.9 mm. IR CAM 1: FLIR A325sc (KPI: spatial resolution ~700 μm/pixel at 60 Hz) IR CAM 2: Optris PI640 (KPI: spatial resolution 31.25 μm/pixel at 32 Hz, FOV 20 ×15 [mm]) Acknowledgement: The printing was done with Eglé Vasiliauskaité during the Romupam project.
