Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), partial pressure of CO2 (pCO2), methane, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, salinity and other measurements collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the ArcticNet CCGS Amundsen cruises AMU2016-02, AMU2017-02, and AMD1802 (EXPOCODEs 18DL20160716, 18DL20170714, 18DL20180725) as part of the HiBio project in Baffin Bay and Davis Strait from 2016-07-16 to 2018-08-13 (NCEI Accession 0240704)

Description

This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected during the ArcticNet CCGS Amundsen cruises AMU2016-02, AMU2017-02, and AMD1802 (EXPOCODEs 18DL20160716, 18DL20170714, 18DL20180725) as part of the HiBio project in Baffin Bay and Davis Strait from 2016-07-16 to 2018-08-13. These data include dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), partial pressure of CO2 (pCO2), methane, dissolved oxygen, water temperature, salinity and other measurements. As a part of the ArcticNet program; the "HiBio" project investigated the distribution of benthic organisms; particularly cold water corals and sponges. State of the ocean acidification was studied to understand the environment for these habitats in Davis Strait and Baffin Bay region.
