Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), nutrients, pigments, dissolved oxygen, temperature, salinity and other measurements collected from discrete samples and profile observations collected during Fisheries and Oceans Canada CCGS Needler cruise NED2015017 (EXPOCODE 18NE20150629) in the Bay of Fundy from 2015-06-29 to 2015-08-17 (NCEI Accession 0240811)

Description

This dataset includes discrete sample and profile data collected during Fisheries and Oceans Canada CCGS Needler cruise NED2015017 (EXPOCODE 18NE20150629) in the Bay of Fundy from 2015-06-29 to 2015-08-17. The data include measurements of Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), nutrients, pigments, dissolved oxygen, temperature, salinity and other measurements. Oceanographic sampling of physical; biological and chemical parameters is performed biweekly at selected fixed stations and two to three times annually along selected fixed sections; as part of the Atlantic Zone Monitoring Program. The sampling consists at minimum of vertical profile of the entire water column; water bottle sampling at selected depths of nutrients; salinity and oxygen; vertical net tows for zooplankton and Secchi depth measurement.
