The history of the Kölblalm
Description
The history of the Kölblalm is 4000 years old slag finds just behind the hut date back to the Bronze Age. The ore was probably carried in Butten via the Ganggerlsteig — from the mines in the Johnsbach shadow side to the Kölblalm and shrouded there. The reason was the wood scarcity on the shady side and in the valley. All the wood resources of the area were used.
