The beetles of the National Park Gesäuse (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae)
Description
The goat beetle fauna of the Gesäuse National Park in Styria was researched in 2005-2008 and compared and discussed with the results of the first field studies. A comparison of the cerambycid fauna of the NP Gesäuse with those of the high Swabian area and the wilderness area of Dürrenstein is presented, effective decimation factors are still being identified and objectives and measures for more effective protection of xylobionten fauna are presented.
